Over the past three weeks, I have found myself out of my usual routine and plunged into a depressive state. It was a difficult period where I struggled to take care of myself properly. Daily chores like taking a shower, eating nutritious meals, and continuing to clean my apartment were left behind. However, I am happy to report that today marks a turning point. I have made some positive changes and I feel much better.

A significant improvement was finding a medication that helps manage my morning anxiety. It made a noticeable difference in my overall well-being. In addition, I consciously focus on self-care and activities that comfort me. Although I gave up on my personal hygiene and my diet during this time, today I am determined to get back on track.

To start my day, I started with exercises to energize my body and clear my mind. I also took it upon myself to order a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring I had healthy options to enjoy throughout the week. Although I still have several hours of work on my computer today, I plan to gradually tackle household chores. Rather than overwhelm myself trying to do everything at once, I’m going to take small steps, like washing dishes and doing laundry, to gradually catch up.

By taking this approach, I can avoid being overwhelmed and create a new routine that keeps me on top of household chores in the future. It’s a reminder that self-care is an ongoing process and it’s okay to take things one step at a time. Today, I am proud of the progress I have made and optimistic about what lies ahead.
